Valuation Guide for OFH donors
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires donors to value their items. To help guide you, the following list provides price ranges for commonly sold goods in our store. These are estimated values on items when sold in our store only. Please check with your tax professional for additional advice.
Clothing & Accessories
We accept gently used and new clothing regardless of season. We take donations of everything from formal to outrageous!
We also take accessories, such as shoes, handbags,scarves, and jewelry.
If in doubt, just bring it in!
Homeless needs
{OFH} provides support to feed and clothe the homeless of downtown Atlanta. You can help by being a part of Street Reach or donating items.

Time
Material items are great and definitely needed. However, giving a donation of your time is extremely helpful. Needs range from in-store to on-the-street.
- In-store sorting, organizing
- Special construction projects
- Pick-up/Delivery assistance
- Distribution of clothing/food to the homeless (Street Reach)

Money
If you find that you don't have the time to help out but still want to do something, we can now accept your monetary donations online! Click the donate button below to get started.
Home decor items
We gladly accept comforter and sheet sets, glassware, pictures, knick-knacks, wall hangings, pillows, etc. Even small pieces of furniture like shelves, desks, chairs. No beds, please.
Undesirable Items
There are just some things we can't accept because they are too big or there isn't strong demand for them. For example, we really don't have a need for appliances and electronics.
However, if you would like to donate these large items, give us a call; we might know of someone in need.
