Street Reach
{OFH} Clothing for a Cause has been funding Street Reach since our first month. Street Reach is a ministry through West Cobb Church that feeds the homeless every Thursday night.
We have partnered with them and provided funds to purchase food and supplies. We go with them to serve and to bring:
- clothing
- toiletries
- blankets
- shoes
- and other items of need
During this past year we have been able to meet the needs of families that are homeless due to fires, foreclosures, etc. We have paid tuitions, provided medical supplies to schools and classroom supplies for teachers.
Recently, we even had a donation of 7,000 pairs of shoes that we were able to help get out to various ministries and homeless from Africa to the Appalachian Mountains to Atlanta. We are humbled every day to think that God has chosen us for this ministry.
How can I help?
You can help in a number of different ways:
- Donating items - items needed
- Preparing food Thursday evenings from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. with a great group of people
- Distributing food and/or clothing in downtown Atlanta on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
- Donating monetarily
